Memgraph App Challenge

We are proud to announce the first Memgraph App Challenge - a remote hackathon where you build graph applications to win awesome prizes. :trophy:

How does it work?

1. Come up with an idea that uses streaming data.
2. Ingest your data with Kafka.
3. Connect Kafka to Memgraph and do some awesome graph analytics.
4. Combine it all into a simple web application (technology stack of your choosing)!

It doesn’t matter if you have a team or if you do it alone. What’s most important is the idea, not even the final application.
There’s also plenty of time to finish the app because you have until December 31st to submit your solutions.

If you want to know more, then take a look at our latest blog post and join our new Community Discord server.

Greetings, fellow graph enthusiasts! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

If you are still not sure what to create for the Memgraph App Challenge, why not
implement a Python program to analyze a graph dataset?
We prepared a simple tutorial on how to use Memgraph with Python and Jupyter Notebooks that might come in handy:

And here are some pretty cool graph datasets that you could analyze in your own solutions:

Don’t forget that the submission deadline for the App Challenge is December 31st.
