The new Memgraph Lab 2.0 has been released!
It includes cool new features like split views, displaying Memghraph logs, developing Python query modules and a new faster graph visualization engine powered by D3.js. If you have some spare time and want to try it out, you can download it from our website.
In order to test it out, you can follow these simple steps:
- Start the latest Memgraph Platform release (Memgraph 2.2.1 and Memgraph Lab 2.0) with the command
docker run -it -p 7687:7687 -p 7444:7444 -p 3000:3000 memgraph/memgraph-platform:2.2.6.
- Download and install the Memgraph Lab desktop app or open the browser version on the address
- Import a dataset through the tab
- Try out a few queries and features.
If you notice any strange behavior, you can report it right here in a thread or through a support ticket on support.memgraph.com. If you try it out on your own Memgraph instance, make sure that you are running Memgraph 2.2.0 or newer and that port 7444 is exposed . Otherwise, you won’t be able to see the logs, develop query modules or check the version of Memgraph you are running in the status bar. The documentation for the new Lab is still in progress, so if you have any questions, this is the perfect place to ask.
P.S. If you find some interesting bugs, you may get some well-deserved Memgraph SWAG!
